We have several types of membership available:

Single Membership:

You must be eligible for membership in the credit union and the account is in your name and you are the only person who may make any financial transactions on this account.

Joint Membership:

You must be eligible for membership in the credit union, but your account is set up that another person is authorized to make financial transactions on your account. The joint person does not have to be eligible for credit union membership.

Payable on Death Membership:

You must be eligible for membership in the credit union and the account is in your name and you are the only person who may make any financial transactions on this account, but you have set up a beneficiary on this account, so the funds in the account at the time of your demise will be made available to the person you appointed beneficiary after all necessary documents are presented.

Organization Membership:

The organization must be an organization or association of the US Postal Service. It may be a group of postal employees who have come together for a specific purpose, such as the Children's Christmas Fund or a union that serves postal employees. Two or more signatures are required to open this type of account. A certified resolution is required to be completed to direct the credit union as to who is authorized to transact on this account.



By member choice accounts are insured by ASI for up to $250,000. This institution is not federally insured, and if the institution fails, the Federal Government does not guarantee that depositors will get back their money.
